Get ready to be amazed! This year’s MIS expo was a blast, and we at Philco Systems were thrilled to be a part of it. We pushed the boundaries of innovation and creativity, showcasing our skills in design and execution with a festive twist.
Imagine this: a Santa Claus whose outfit changes color as you approach! We used an IFM radar distance sensor and an Allen Bradley IO link master to make this magical display possible. The closer you got, the more festive Santa became!
Next up, we had a conveyor belt system that’s both smart and efficient. A laser sensor, solenoid, and motor worked together to sort products based on their reflectivity. And to top it off, an HMI screen counted the separated products, making the process transparent and efficient.
But wait, there’s more! We set up a local server and wireless network, all controlled by a simple QR code. By scanning the code, you could access a web page and control a motor’s speed and direction. An HMI screen provided real-time updates on the motor’s activity.
Finally, we showcased the precision of an Allen Bradley photoelectric sensor. By detecting tiny distance changes, it lit up a digital Christmas tree on an HMI screen, one light at a time.
